The Opportunity

We are presently looking for a Director/Sr, Finance who will be a trusted global business partner to the GM/VP for the Industrial Material Solutions Division, ~ USD 160M in annual revenue, and reports to the CFO & SVP of the Advanced Industrial Segment. The Sr. Finance Director leads a small team whose core responsibilities include strategic business partnership, FP&A, and management reporting. In this role, you will be able to make demonstrable impact on the Industrial Material Solutions Division and its P&L. This position will be located in Hiram, Ohio, with Pittsburgh PA as the alternate option.

Responsibilities
  • Global P&L Ownership for the Division
  • Acts as a key adviser to Division leadership for strategic investments and initiatives;
  • Back-up to the Division VP/GM when he/she is unavailable (e.g. fill-in as presenter representing the business);
  • Creates active partnership with Operations, Product Management, R&D, and other functions;
  • Analyzes data and prepares executive summaries for operational, financial and strategic decision-making;
  • Supports Product Management on customer RFQ pricing & margin performance;
  • Performs R&D project analytics and investment review;
  • Scrutinizes Division P&L to assess operating margin performance and makes recommendations to improve profitability;
  • Prepares KPI variance analysis including financial bridges for Division;
  • Participates actively in monthly operating reviews;
  • Plays a leading role in the annual budget process and long-range strategic planning process;
  • Analyzes, understands and provides executive summaries using cost accounting principles including an in depth understanding of fixed vs. variable cost for general management and business cases;
  • Performs diligence and prepares business case / deal model for relevant M&A pipeline opportunity assessment;
  • Understands and utilizes data and systems for consolidated management reporting;
  • Suppports or leads relevant reporting automation and systems projects;
  • Supports integrity and timeline for month-end close process.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (required), Master's Degree (preferred);
  • Possess more than ten (10) years of experience as a Finance Leader (required), with experience on a global scale and in manufacturing or manufacturing technology companies
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Have proficiency in MS Office (required);
  • Have experience with SAP, OneStream, PowerBI (preferred)
