Full Job Description
Title: Director Procurement & Planning
Location: This position is based in our Campbell, California offices. This position is on-site, full-time

What You'll Do
This position will oversee supplier relationships and planning by developing and implementing processes that align with corporate priorities while guiding the team toward successful execution. The Director will be responsible for the entire procurement and planning processes, from early development through commercial release, ensuring risk management, cost savings, and strong supplier partnerships. This role will drive continuous improvement across procurement and planning operations, establishing effective processes and initiatives to ensure supply partners, internal manufacturing and external manufacturing consistently meet quality, service, and financial objectives.
  • Develop supply plans to achieve cost savings and improve quality and service levels by identifying opportunity areas such as product standardization and supplier consolidation.
  • Develop, communicate and manage policies, procedures and processes for the Procurement and Planning area.
  • Build and develop relationships at the executive level with suppliers and external manufacturing partners to ensure contractual commitment, alignment and accountability to business objectives, product quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish performance monitoring/KPI programs to effectively measure the performance of our internal procurement team and external partners.
  • Working in close partnership with the Finance organization and own all budgetary and operational aspects of procurement and planning, including direct responsibility for materials.
  • Ensure timely acquisition of materials to support current and future products by actively participating in demand planning and new product development with R&D.
  • Identify business risks and implement solutions that scale with the growth of the business.
  • Establish a culture focused on continuous process improvements aimed at achieving predictability and efficient operations.
  • Establish annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in accordance with corporate objectives and manage team performance to ensure attainment.
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members' professional growth and development to ensure each individual's competencies and deliverables are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business or related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in supply chain, or procurement management plus a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proven ability to define expectations in ambiguity and influence change at all levels within an organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with demonstrated abilities to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are required.

Salary Range: $209,000 - 247,000 / annually
