Director - Plant Operations

Qualifications

• Basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, hazardous material, and safety management experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years hospital experience in Plant Operations preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital-associated codes essential.
• Experience managing all Facilities-related departments (EVS, Security, Grounds, Biomed, etc.).
• Familiarity with facility buildings, equipment, and utilities necessary.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer all work related to the physical plant and ancillary systems.
• Manage construction and remodeling projects as directed by organizational leadership.
• Act as a liaison between the Medical Center and contracted personnel/vendors for Facilities-related work.
• Present a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians, and the public.
• Oversee Engineering, Grounds, EVS, Security, and Safety operations.
