Director, Pharmacy Strategic Programs & Innovation (Job Overview)Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pharmacy initiatives from concept to pilot, ensuring successful execution across the system.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, budget, and cross-department collaboration effectively.
- Provide regular updates to the Pharmacy leadership team to maintain project visibility.
- Identify and address potential roadblocks, delays, and concerns proactively.
- Collaborate with Pharmacy leadership to resolve issues efficiently.
- Support evaluation of pilot programs and update initiatives as necessary.
- Partner with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to ensure project feasibility.
- Oversee implementation of projects and initiatives with leadership approval.
- Support rollout of new service lines and develop pilot launches.
- Ensure alignment with compliance, finance, and clinical priorities.
- Partner with Marketing & Communications to support pharmacy campaigns and launches.
- Seek and acquire external business and prescription volume sources.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
- Active Texas Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
- Five years of Pharmacy experience with at least three years in leadership level positions.
- Previous Administrative, management, or supervisory experience.
- Previous experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Previous project management experience.
- Master's degree in public health or healthcare/business management is preferred.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and State/Federal laws governing medical and pharmacy services.
- Strong leadership and mediation abilities.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
- Ability to apply knowledge of statistics and graphical representation principles to communicate effectively.
- Computer literate in electronic mail, word processing, and office management system software.
