ResponsibilitiesUF Health is currently seeking a Director, Perioperative Services. This role Coordinates and evaluates the quality of nursing/patient care, financial stability and service productivity. The Nursing Director is responsible for the professional development and morale of the service teams and has a close working relationship with the general management team and the medical staff to effectively meet system goals, organizational goals and all pillars relating to the departments he/she oversees.
QualificationsEducation- Graduate degree required; or
- Bachelor's degree required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration- Current Florida nursing license is required.
- ACLS, BLS, and CNOR certifications for healthcare providers preferred.
- Specialty certification required within one year of assuming the position, as appropriate.
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training- Maintains or exceeds all specialty educational requirements.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Experience Required- Three to five years of previous experience as a Director of Surgical Services.
