This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA

This is your chance to be part of the Global Strategic Partnerships team that brings Hilton's most important partnerships to life through long-term relationship management, strategic growth planning, and integrated go-to-market execution. As Director, Partnership Strategy and Management, you will lead Hilton's enterprise partnership portfolio, ensuring current and prospective partners are aligned to Hilton's integrated marketing goals, business priorities, loyalty objectives, customer experience goals, and global customer growth strategy. This role blends strategic partner leadership, marketing acumen, commercial discipline, cross-functional influence, and portfolio management - making it both highly visible and deeply impactful.

What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Enterprise Partnership Strategy: Develop and own the strategic roadmap for Hilton's global enterprise partnership portfolio, ensuring partnerships are prioritized, structured, and activated in support of Hilton's commercial, marketing, brand, loyalty, and customer engagement objectives.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead ongoing management of current partners across sports, music, entertainment, lifestyle, travel, and other strategic categories, ensuring each relationship has clear objectives, operating rhythms, value drivers, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard new partnership opportunities that advance Hilton's strategic marketing priorities, strengthen customer relevance, and create differentiated value for Hilton Honors members, guests, owners, and partners.
  • Commercial and Contract Leadership: Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders to support negotiations, renewals, contracting, compliance, rights management, and risk mitigation across the partnership lifecycle.
  • Performance Governance: Establish measurement frameworks, scorecards, business reviews, and reporting processes to track partner performance, identify optimization opportunities, and communicate impact to senior leaders.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Serve as a senior partnership lead across cross-functional go-to-market teams, partnering with integrated marketing, partnership activation, loyalty, brand, communications, sales, owner relations, finance, legal, and regional teams to integrate partnership priorities into business plans.
  • Build trusted relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring shared objectives, clear ways of working, and execution across global and regional initiatives.
  • Influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams by translating partner opportunities, market trends, and business requirements into clear recommendations, decision points, and action plans.
  • Lead, coach, and develop partnership management resources, setting priorities, building scalable processes, and fostering a culture across the Global Strategic Partnerships team.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
  • Global partnership strategy roadmap, including integrated marketing priorities, growth opportunities, partner segmentation, and annual planning recommendations.
  • Partner business plans, models, governance calendars, executive business reviews, and performance scorecards.
  • New partnership evaluation materials, business cases, negotiation inputs, onboarding plans, and launch readiness documents.
  • Cross-functional go-to-market plans that connect partner capabilities to global and regional integrated marketing priorities.
  • Budget plans, investment recommendations, ROI narratives, and executive reporting that demonstrate partnership value and inform future decision-making.
What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in partnership strategy, strategic alliances, partner management, and/or sponsorships (preferably within a consumer brand, hospitality, travel, entertainment, sports, or agency environment)
  • Experience supporting negotiations, renewals, business cases, partner value propositions, contract deliverables, budget management, and/or financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-value partner relationships and translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, initiatives, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and build alignment across internal and external partner teams.
  • Experience developing performance frameworks, partner scorecards, executive reporting, and/or ROI narratives that connect partnership activity to business impact.
  • This is a McLean, VA based role (on average, in office 3 days per week)
