The RoleChestnut Health is looking for a seller-leader to drive growth as we expand into new markets. You will build relationships with corporate decision-makers at skilled nursing facility organizations, lead our sales strategy, and close deals yourself. As we grow, you will build and lead the team.
You will lead both
top-down (corporate and executive relationships) and
bottoms-up (facility-level) sales approaches. Both strategies are already underway with our business development team, and you will help execute and sharpen them.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a national sales strategy for SNF organizations
- Build relationships with corporate leadership at SNF operators and groups
- Lead contract negotiations and close new partnerships
- Lead and support the business development team on facility-level opportunities, stepping in when a deal needs senior involvement
- Build the pipeline, forecast results, and report on growth
- Travel to meet prospects and clients across multiple states
- Work with operations, credentialing, and clinical leadership to ensure smooth onboarding of new facility clients
- Recruit, coach, and manage sales team members as we grow
- Represent Chestnut at industry events and in the market
What Success Looks Like- First 90 days: Present a sales plan and begin outreach to corporate SNF decision-makers
- First year: New facility contracts signed in new states, a working pipeline, and a defined sales process
- Longer term: A sales team in place and a repeatable, national growth engine

RequirementsRequired Qualifications- 10+ years of experience growing and scaling multi-state or national healthcare operations
- At least 5 years in a SNF sales environment
- Proven record of growth and closing results (with measurable examples)
- Strong client-facing, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead both strategy and execution
- Comfortable with frequent travel, up to weekly
- Ability to present a sales strategy and plan during the interview process
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications- Experience selling physician or rehabilitation services to post-acute or long-term care organizations
- Relationships with SNF corporate decision-makers
- CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline reporting
- Experience building or scaling a sales team in a growth-stage company
