Full Job Description
The Area Vice President of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN) will develop and lead the IDN sales team's growth strategy execution. This person will create a new pathway in how Vantive approaches IDNs by putting together a medium-long term strategy and creating channels to strengthen Vantive's relationship with C-Suites. Responsibilities of the AVP, IDN include: • Build and maintain strategic relationships at executive levels within all GPOs, government entities and the top 100 IDNs in the country to achieve Vantive's growth objectives. • Creation of contracting strategy, successful negotiation and maintenance of the portfolio ensuring contracts deliver expected financial value over the long-range plan (LRP). • Plans, directs, and controls the IDN sales and business activities through the translation of strategic objectives into sales plans to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives. • Recruit and develop top talent to maintain pipeline of strong, senior level sales talent for Vantive. • Maintain strong connection to the field Sales team in support of achieving financial and strategic objectives in each business, maximizing Vantive's total revenue. • Demonstrate a broad comprehension of the customer's needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies. • Monitors sales expense budget to ensure that expenditures are cost-effective and produce desired results. • Ensure a culture that is aligned to Vantive's code of conduct and culture levers. Ensure strong partnerships are developed across the organization with key internal and external customers, partners and stakeholders. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS The AVP, IDN, will have a successful track-record of experience and understanding in the following areas: • Experience introducing and launching new technologies, Biotech product, orphan drugs in IDNs • Strong experience developing value creation strategies using clinical, HEOC evidence • Demonstrated relationship with top executive in IDN • Successful negotiation of multi-billion dollar, complex agreements that exceeded financial objectives (GPO & IDN). • Deep experience in multiple segments and industries of the healthcare environment to include, but not limited to, medical device, capital equipment, government, alternate site, generics, hemostats & sealants, acute renal therapies, acute hospital, therapy sales, distribution, GPO, IDN and healthcare B2B. • Demonstrated experience in creating a culture that supports Vantive's code of conduct and culture levers. • Proven ability to implement new sales model/process, think creativity and create meaningful partnerships with customer base. • Superb leadership, coaching, and people development skills. • Ability to supervise and mentor field-based teams. • Ability to work in a matrix sales organization. The estimated base salary for this position is $240,000 - $332,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position.
