The opportunity The Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting is responsible for the governance of Delaware North's financial reporting and accounting policies.
Pay Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $132,100 - $224,700 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do? - Govern and d irect Delaware North's chart of accounts in accordance with reporting requirements and business needs
- Provide expert advice on technical accounting matters and interface with outside consultants to identify and address complex accounting issues
- Direct the d evelopment of internal controls related to processes and monitor compliance with company policies related to Lease Administration
- Ensure lender compliance reporting is timely , complete, and accurate
- Provide direction and drive policy around technical accounting matters, including interpretation of generally accepted accounting principles and their application across the business
- Effectively assess talent, establish standards, and build engagement throughout the financial reporting and technical accounting team
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to drive the successful performance of the function
More about you - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
- Certified Public Accountant required
- Ability to supervise staff toward timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
- Independent problem solving and analytical abilities coupled with good troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across management and staff levels and with international management and consultants

- Strong automated system skills required with ability to independently learn automated system functionality
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and OneStream preferred
- Strong automated system skills required with ability to learn automated system functionality independently
- Strong knowledge of accounting policies and procedures, US GAAP and ability to learn and apply Australian IFRS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
