Position Summary

As the Director of Site Operations, you will be the driving force behind our operational success. This role is pivotal in developing, directing, and overseeing operations and sales, ensuring the site achieves efficiency, profitability, and exceptional service standards. If you're a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to leadership, this role offers the perfect blend of oversight and in-the-field action.

What You'll Do
  • Lead Operations: Oversee daily operations, prioritizing safety, environmental compliance, and effectiveness in everything we do.
  • Build & Empower Teams: Shape a high-performing team through effective staffing, development, and resource allocation to achieve our safety, financial, and operational goals.
  • Drive Efficiency: Use key metrics and reports to identify trends and implement solutions that boost production efficiency and profitability.
  • Foster Continuous Improvement: Lead site-level improvement initiatives, promoting best practices in safety, quality, and operations.
  • Communicate with Leadership: Provide clear updates on site performance, daily logistics, and any factors that may affect budgets or other key objectives.
  • Ensure Standardized Practices: Maintain consistency with daily safety analyses, quality checks, and housekeeping standards, exceeding customer expectations every step of the way.
  • Support Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the timely generation of maintenance work orders to keep equipment and facilities in top condition.
  • Be Available for On-Call Support: Provide backup support during weekends or as needed to ensure continuous operations.

Who You Are
  • An adaptive leader with a strong mechanical aptitude and 3+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or scheduling within the transportation sector.
  • Proven experience managing 10+ employees, guiding teams to excel in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments.
