Job Summary/Description:
Are you a hands-on sales leader who knows how to build teams, grow revenue, and lead with both urgency and empathy? We're looking for a Director of Sales who can recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team while driving smart, sustainable growth across broadcast, digital, and emerging platforms. You'll own the full revenue picture-local direct, new business, and multi-platform solutions-while helping clients get real results and strong ROI.
Just as important, you'll bring structure, organization, and clarity to the systems that keep sales teams moving fast and focused. Culture matters here. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead all local sales strategy across broadcast, digital, and emerging platforms.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a motivated, high-performing sales team.
• Drive new local direct business and uncover growth opportunities.
• Own all aspects of advertising revenue with a focus on client ROI and long-term growth.
• Help expand and adopt new products and capabilities as they emerge.
• Bring structure and oversight to sales systems, processes, and forecasting.
• Set clear expectations, goals, and accountability across the team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, positivity, urgency, and results.
• Partner with station and corporate teams to align strategy and execution
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of local media sales experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in sales leadership or management.
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning and revenue growth.
• Experience selling across broadcast and digital platforms preferred
