OverviewThe Director of Sales must believe in, practice and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be Honest, Objective, Mature and Efficient in how he or she approaches their role at Green Brick Partners.
Manage and Motivate the Sales Team. Assist VP of Sales and Marketing along with the Division President to attain sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Motivation and lead the sales team
- Recruit, hire and train the community sales managers and sales assistants
- Maintain successful assimilation plan for new hires in training
- Monthly face to face meetings with each sales agent to provide accountability, training and support
- Assist with sales meeting presentations and team building events
- Regularly attend builder meetings with sales and construction staff
- Provide excellent customer service skills in the pre-sale, buying process, or closing of our homes
- Write cancellation or buyer/Realtor letters as needed
- Assist agents in preparing for F5 meetings and Summit Presentations for new community openings
- Create and Maintain Agent Calendars to ensure communities have daily coverage
- Schedule regular mystery shops to provide to VP of Sales and Marketing for review. Meet one on one with agents to review mystery shops
- Review weekly sales report in NSS and clean up pending sales offers
- Motivate with contests and other efforts
- Conduct performance reviews of sales personnel
- Responsible for safety implementation in the models an onsite homes under construction
- Implement and oversee the accuracy of competition studies
- Provides sales strategies on selling with or against the competition in the surrounding area
- Attend Realtor presentations and help in setting up and scheduling presentations
- Seek advice or help from HR as needed on personnel issues
- Implement changes with the sales team such as contract changes, design center, etc
- Attend outside company and Realtor functions
- Attend prototype frame walks to give feedback
- Attend weekly sales and marketing meetings as well as brand specific, financial and leadership meetings
- Attend and prepare for kick off meetings
Supervision of Others: Supervise the Community Sales Managers and Sales Assistants. Provide appropriate coaching and mentoring for these team members to achieve their goals
Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability:
Help in the hiring and assigning CSM’s and CSA’s to community locations. Directs a team of approximately 30 employees.
Manage sales per community along with Director of Sales.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
Location: The Providence Group/Travel to numerous field locations
