Ready to Lead Without Leaving Behind Why You Became an Occupational Therapy Professional?

You became a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help people regain independence and improve their quality of life. What if your next step allowed you to make that difference not only for your patients—but for an entire rehabilitation team?

At AdvantageCare Rehabilitation, we’re seeking a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department at Holy Redeemer Lafayette in the Fox Chase area of Philadelphia, PA.

For this particular leadership opportunity, we are seeking a Pennsylvania-licensed COTA who can bring both occupational therapy experience and strong leadership skills to the role.

Lead a Team That Makes a Difference

As the Director of Rehabilitation at Holy Redeemer Lafayette, you’ll help shape the day-to-day experience of both your therapy team and the residents they serve.

You’ll oversee Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services, partnering closely with facility leadership and the interdisciplinary care team to provide individualized, clinically appropriate rehabilitation.

This isn't simply about managing schedules and productivity.

It's about developing therapists, building a strong rehabilitation department, creating a positive team culture, strengthening clinical programming, and ensuring excellent patient care remains at the heart of what your team does.

What You’ll Do as Director of Rehabilitation

As DOR, you’ll serve as the connection between clinical excellence, your rehabilitation team, facility leadership, and AdvantageCare.

You will:

• Lead the daily operations and performance of the rehabilitation department
• Support, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of PT, OT, and SLP professionals
• Provide direct patient care within your COTA scope of practice, as appropriate
• Partner with facility leadership and interdisciplinary team members
• Support appropriate staffing, scheduling, and caseload management
• Promote timely, accurate documentation and outcomes-focused treatment
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and professional requirements
• Identify opportunities to strengthen therapy programming and rehabilitation services
• Foster employee engagement, communication, collaboration, and accountability
• Create an environment where clinicians feel supported, valued, and empowered to provide excellent care
• Champion AdvantageCare's commitment to integrity, empathy, collaboration, and patient-centered care

Why Lead With AdvantageCare?

We understand therapy because we come from therapy.

AdvantageCare was founded by therapists, and many of our leaders have clinical backgrounds. We understand that a successful Director of Rehabilitation has to balance operations, clinical quality, employee development, facility relationships, and patient care.

Therapist-Driven Leadership:You won't be leading a therapy department for an organization disconnected from rehabilitation. Our clinical roots continue to influence how we approach care, operations, and leadership.

Leadership With Support:Becoming a DOR shouldn't mean figuring everything out alone. You'll have access to experienced clinical and operational leadership to support you as you manage your department and develop your team.

Clinical Autonomy:We believe clinicians should have a voice. As DOR, you'll help foster an environment where therapists can use their education, experience, and clinical judgment to provide individualized care.

The Opportunity to Build Culture:Great rehabilitation departments don't happen by accident. You'll have the opportunity to create an environment where communication, collaboration, accountability, development, and recognition matter.

Real Opportunities to Grow:AdvantageCare believes in developing our people. We offer continuing education resources, professional development, leadership pathways, and opportunities for continued advancement as our organization grows.
