Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Director of Product Management is a senior strategic leader responsible for defining and executing CCRT’s product vision, portfolio strategy, and go-to-market approach across software, hardware, and integrated solutions.

This role integrates Product Management, Product Marketing, and Marketing & Communications into a single accountable function, ensuring tight alignment between product development, market demand, and revenue growth. The Director serves as the key bridge between Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, translating technical capabilities into differentiated market offerings and measurable commercial outcomes.

A critical expectation of this role is the ability to define, package, and commercialize integrated “solution sets” — combining software, hardware, and services into cohesive offerings that solve specific customer mission problems, replicating successful models such as CCRT’s Missile Test Bench solution.

This role also leads market intelligence and customer insight development, leveraging mechanisms such as Customer Advisory Boards and the Real-Time Summit to systematically capture the voice of the customer (VoC), inform product strategy, and cultivate new solution concepts aligned to evolving mission needs.

In addition, the Director is expected to leverage AI-driven tools and data insights to enhance product strategy, market intelligence, and go-to-market effectiveness, while identifying opportunities to incorporate AI-enabled capabilities into CCRT’s products and solution sets — particularly in edge, test, and mission-critical applications.

Must be a US Citizen. We are unable to hire anyone for this position that is a dual citizen, green card holder, or on a visa.

Essential Duties

  • Define and lead CCRT’s multi-year product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio priorities, aligned with A&D growth objectives
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept through commercialization and sustainment
  • Identify and prioritize market opportunities, adjacent offerings, and new solution areas to drive revenue and margin growth
  • Translate strategy into clear product requirements, roadmaps, and innovation pipelines across RTOS, hardware, and integrated solutions
  • Establish and manage product KPIs (revenue, adoption, margins, lifecycle performance), including pricing and portfolio optimization
  • Define and deliver integrated solution sets combining software, hardware, and services into scalable, mission-focused offerings
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to package, position, and commercialize solutions, using the Missile Test Bench as a benchmark for execution excellence
  • Own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, including launches, campaigns, and sales enablement
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear commercial value propositions and differentiated market narratives
  • Lead the Marketing & Communications function, including brand, content, digital, events, and PR
  • Drive demand generation and pipeline development in partnership with Sales, strengthening CCRT’s market position
  • Lead market intelligence and customer insight efforts, including market research, competitive analysis, and segmentation
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring insights directly influence roadmap and product decisions
  • Act as the central integrator across Engineering, Sales, and Operations, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution
  • Partner with Sales to improve win rates, deal velocity, and solution positioning
  • Support executive leadership with product strategy, business cases, and growth initiatives
  • Build and lead a high-performing Product + Marketing organization, establishing clear roles, processes, and operating cadence
  • Develop talent and drive a culture of accountability, market focus, and execution excellence

AI-Driven Strategy and Execution

  • Leverage AI tools and data platforms to enhance market intelligence, customer insight, and product decision-making
  • Identify and drive opportunities to incorporate AI-enabled capabilities into CCRT’s products and solution sets, particularly in edge, test, and mission-critical applications
  • Apply AI to improve go-to-market effectiveness, including segmentation, messaging optimization, and pipeline insights

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, product marketing, or related leadership roles
  • Demonstrated success owning product strategy, roadmap development, and go-to-market execution
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, marketing, and sales
  • Strong background in B2B technology environments, preferably aerospace & defense, real-time systems, or embedded platforms
  • Proven ability to translate technical products into commercial success and revenue growth
  • Experience scaling or building product and/or marketing functions in a growth environment

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
