Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Director of Operations - REMOTE to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for setting departmental and individual goals based on company objectives and communicates those goals effectively to staff. Develop strategies and action plans to achieve department goals, create objective and measurable criteria that will be used to gauge the results of individual staff's actions, also plan, prioritize, and direct work assignments, develop incentives and tools to help staff meet individual and departmental goals. Also responsible for monitoring the staff's performance and their efforts toward department goals, evaluate the financial performance of their department on a scheduled basis and interface with respective staff and other managers to assure corrective action is taken when problems are identified and hold others accountable in a constructive manner and guide staff through difficulties to achieve department goals and maintain documented improvement plans and staff success. This position offers a salary range of $80,000-$90,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and the state where the employee is hired.

  • Accountable for BPO process efficiency
  • Accountable for the financial and operational performance of the CSR teams in multiple locations
  • Adheres to and implements all company policies and procedures
  • Conducts regular performance reviews for all direct reports and approves all performance reviews for all team members reporting up through Director of Operations
  • Interviews and hires staff as needed as approved by senior management with emphasis on recruiting best-qualified candidates
  • Keeps current on industry and market place trends
  • Key focus with interdepartmental relationships at a local, area, region and corporate level
  • Maintains accurate records at location level for compliance purposes
  • Maintains and updates all manuals necessary for company operations and establishes processes to evaluate location's compliance with applicable policies and procedures
  • Maintains appropriate documentation regarding personnel performance
  • Maintains working knowledge of product reimbursement guidelines
  • Makes sure team members receive and complete necessary training and provide seamless service to patients
  • Manage location needs including maintenance and repair requests
  • Monitors and acts on the team's growth plan in order to achieve or exceed the location's budgeted goals
  • Provides leadership and accountability within division to drive operational excellence including ticketing efficiency, accuracy and timeliness
  • Reports directly to the division Vice President
  • Reviews and approves employee timecards for payroll
  • Reviews and approves expense reports for division employees
  • Reviews and approves invoices for Wound Care Division
  • Works with location employees, referral sources, patients and management team to grow revenue and maintain high level of upfront cash collections
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Travel
  • Travel required up to 20% of time

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required

Preferred Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of five years' experience in RT/DME sales or healthcare industry sales, preferred
  • Experience with medical equipment, preferred
  • Medical terminology, preferred
  • Five years of related work experience, preferred
  • Proven track record of sales success and strong sales skills
  • Understand sales analysis, revenue management and basic corporate financial structure
  • Prior experience with Advanced Wound Dressing products
