The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing all operational functions within a fast-paced IT infrastructure and server rack manufacturing environment. This role drives operational excellence by improving processes, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, ensuring on-time order fulfillment, and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a leader with a strong manufacturing background and a proven ability to improve efficiency, productivity, and organizational performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Excellence & Process Optimizationo Analyze and improve operational workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, increase efficiency, and reduce operating costs.
o Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and best practices.
Leadership & Team Developmento Conduct performance evaluations and establish measurable objectives.
o Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain Coordinationo Partner with supply chain, purchasing, production, and planning teams to ensure timely material availability and production schedules.
o Oversee material planning, inventory optimization, shortage tracking, and demand forecasting.
o Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule while maintaining inventory targets.
Strategic Problem Solving & Continuous Improvemento Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
o Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Requirements• Minimum of 10 years of progressive operations management experience, including leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in IT infrastructure, electronics manufacturing, server rack manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.
Education• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Technical Skills• Strong proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience with production planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
