Position Overview
We are seeking a
Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and oversee clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have at least
2 years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing setting, a strong record in regulatory compliance and survey success, and a demonstrated ability to develop and mentor nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all clinical operations within the skilled nursing facility.
- Manage and mentor RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and Ohio Department of Health standards.
- Maintain and improve survey readiness, achieving positive survey outcomes.
- Implement staff development programs to foster clinical excellence and retention.
- Collaborate with the facility administrator to ensure resident-centered care, operational efficiency, and high-quality clinical outcomes.
- Monitor and support care plans, quality metrics, and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current, active Ohio RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of nurse management experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Proven success with regulatory surveys and compliance.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
