The Opportunity:Lead the nursing department at a respected Las Vegas facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for an RN who wants to shape patient care standards, build a strong team, and drive quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to all nursing staff
- Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure quality care standards
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Manage staffing schedules, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Monitor patient outcomes and lead quality improvement initiatives
- Oversee infection control, safety protocols, and risk management
- Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications:- Active RN license in Nevada (required)
- BSN required (MSN preferred)
- 1-2+ years of nursing leadership experience (DON, ADON, Nurse Manager)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or similar setting a plus
