Job Summary and Qualifications- You will ensure high quality, patient-centered nursing care through 24/7 responsibility for the operational performance and staffing of the unit/ department, in addition to forecasting, planning and budget monitoring.
- You will foster a culture of accountability and collaboration and support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
- You will ensure efficient patient throughput through volume forecasting, patient flow coordination, and admission/discharge planning
- You will ensure effective labor management, including position control, scheduling excellence, productivity management , and premium pay utilization, and maintain staffing to ensure appropriate care
- You will stay abreast of legal and regulatory standards and ensure compliance; develop and implement policies, procedures. and practices in compliance with all legal/ regulatory standards
What qualifications you will need:- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other clinical specialty required
- Master's Degree preferred
- 1+ years applicable experience required
- 3+ years applicable experience preferred
- Current license as a registered nurse or other licensed clinician in the state of Nevada, in accordance with law and regulation, required
- Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
