We are seeking an experienced and compassionate
Director of Nursing or
Resident Care Director (RN or LPN) to join our leadership team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse who loves senior living, enjoys developing and supporting care teams, and wants to remain connected to residents and families while taking the next step in clinical leadership.

What You'll DoAs the Director of Nursing / Resident Care Director, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for resident care while partnering closely with the Executive Director and community leadership team to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, individualized support.
You will:
- Lead, support, coach, and develop the community's resident care team.
- Oversee day-to-day clinical services across Assisted Living and Memory Care.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families while serving as a trusted clinical resource.
- Help ensure each resident's care plan reflects their individual needs, preferences, abilities, and changing health conditions.
- Coordinate resident assessments, care planning, physician orders, medication management, and ongoing clinical documentation.
- Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure appropriate follow-up and communication with families, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare partners.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to associates caring for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
- Partner with community leadership to maintain appropriate staffing and scheduling based on resident needs.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop nursing and resident care associates.
- Promote accountability while creating an environment where associates feel supported and equipped to provide excellent care.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, company standards, clinical policies, and documentation requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance, infection prevention, medication management, and other clinical initiatives.
- Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism, empathy, and timely follow-through.
- Participate in the community's on-call rotation and provide clinical guidance when needed.
- Work collaboratively with other department leaders to create a seamless resident experience.
- Remain visible, approachable, and engaged with residents, families, and associates throughout the community.

What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a nurse who understands that strong clinical leadership is about more than managing tasks.
It's about
knowing your residents, supporting your associates, communicating with families, recognizing changes before they become larger concerns, and creating a culture where excellent care is the expectation every day.The right leader will be organized and clinically confident while still being approachable and hands-on. You should be comfortable making decisions, coaching associates, navigating difficult conversations, and stepping in when your team needs leadership and support.
Experience in senior living or long-term care is important, and an understanding of the unique needs of residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia is especially valuable.
Required Qualifications- Active RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Previous experience within Assisted Living, senior living, long-term care, or a comparable geriatric care environment.
- Strong clinical judgment and understanding of resident care needs.
- Knowledge of medication management, resident assessments, care planning, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to effectively lead, coach, and support resident care associates.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with residents, families, associates, physicians, and other healthcare partners.
- Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities and respond appropriately to clinical needs outside of regular business hours.
- Understanding of the care needs of residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening and employment requirements.
Preferred Qualifications- Previous Director, Resident Care Director, Director of Nursing, Wellness Director, Assistant Director, Unit Manager, or similar nursing leadership experience.
- Previous Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience.
- Experience supervising, scheduling, training, and developing clinical or resident care teams.
- Experience working directly with residents and families through changes in condition, care transitions, and evolving healthcare needs.
