The Director has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the management of the Labor /Delivery, Nursery and Post Partum units. The director is responsible to uphold the mission, vision, quality statement, and values of the organization and to serve as an example to all employees. The Director integrates the primary functions of the organization into the departments while planning, directing, and coordinating ongoing services of these departments, and is responsible for the quality and quantity of service and for contributing to the organization's financial viability through effective resource management.
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Must have at least two years Labor/Delivery/Nursery and Post Partum experience. Previous charge RN experience is strongly preferred.
