Full Job Description
Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance supports the oversight of all financial activities of the organization and leads the day-to-day financial management functions. The Director of Finance ensures operational excellence across budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, internal controls, and compliance; providing strategic financial insight to support organizational goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements prepared by the Finance team, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes in collaboration with the CFO and senior leadership
  • Deliver actionable financial analysis and strategic insights and recommendations to the CFO and executive leadership
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial and operational performance
  • Ensure effective internal controls, risk management practices, and regulatory compliance frameworks are in place
  • Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with service lines and operational leaders to support business initiatives, financial discipline, and cost optimization
  • Ensure compliance with all leases, mortgages, contracts and other agreements requirements and covenants
  • Assist CFO in financial components of contract negotiations and vendor agreements, optimizing cost structures and mitigating financial risk
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to the Finance team without direct involvement in routine transactional work
  • Act as primary liaison with auditors and external advisors, overseeing audit readiness and execution, compliance with all tax filing and cost reporting requirements
