Job Description

Director of Process Delivery

BSA is seeking a Director of Process Delivery to lead BSA's project delivery operations across Architecture, Engineering, and Interior Design, ensuring consistent project management, quality, and delivery processes firmwide. The Project Delivery Leader serves as the firm's primary resource for project delivery best practices while partnering with discipline leaders to drive operational excellence. The position also develops Project Delivery leaders through training, mentorship, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead, manage and hold Process Delivery Leads, including PM Lead(s), CA Leads, and QM Leads accountable.
  • Develop right structure (including roles and responsibilities) for each of the Project Delivery Lead roles and maintain the right people in these roles to align with the growth trajectory of the firm.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and oversight for the PM Leads, CA Leads, and QM Leads.
  • Participate in hiring plan recommendations related to Project Delivery team.
  • Manage, along with Discipline Leaders, all firmwide core processes related to the delivery process for projects.
  • Promote career development for all technical staff through delivery process training, mentoring and lessons learned sessions.
  • Diad-Leader for Project Delivery Group, guiding delivery processes for firm's project delivery
  • Lead multi-disciplinary Project Delivery Process initiatives firmwide. Works alongside Discipline Directors, Delivery Technology Director and other firm leaders to navigate best practices related to project delivery process tools and resources.
  • Create future project delivery process vision plan that focuses on efficiency and emerging process tools that improve delivery outcomes.
  • Explores initiatives to consistently elevate firmwide project delivery processes.
  • Work alongside CIO to manage firmwide licenses for project delivery process tool needs.
  • Firmwide resource for the management and delivery process components of Project Delivery
  • Lead multi-disciplinary PM Forums and CA round tables.
  • Lead development and maintenance of firmwide Quality Management program.
  • Manage firmwide quality control tools & processes.
  • Perform quality management reviews for assigned projects.
  • Train on lessons learned and other quality management content.
  • Work with Discipline leaders to build lessons learned content into processes & tools.
  • Staff development with a focus on training, resource creation, and supporting an empowering culture
  • Teach, guide, support and develop the technical work of project team members. Utilize personal expertise in specialty areas to support the development of the next generation of technical expertise across the firm.
  • Develop training materials and train on firm's processes such as PM7 or other delivery process topics.
  • Promote career development and growth opportunities for all staff.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in architectural, engineering, or construction management field required.
  • Professional license or registration (preferred)
  • PMP and/or Lean training / certifications (preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience in the design industry including construction document preparation and field observation.
