The Opportunity
Bellwether is looking for a Director of Client Strategy to lead how we plan with our clients. Reporting directly to our President, you'll lead our account executives and technical advisors (vCIOs), build one consistent approach to client strategy, and take new offerings, especially around AI, from good idea to real client conversations. This is a new role, and you'll have a real hand in shaping it.
Your Daily Impact
You'll sit down with owners, CFOs, and COOs to talk through where their business is headed and what technology it needs. You'll review accounts alongside our account executives, spot gaps and opportunities, and shape recommendations. You'll work with our solutions engineering, R&D, and AI teams so every recommendation is technically sound, and you'll champion AI with our clients. When our leadership team has an offering that's 85% there, you'll be the one who finishes it and brings it to market.
Measuring Your Success
Success means our clients get the same strong strategic guidance no matter which account executive or technical advisor they work with. New offerings make it from idea to client conversations instead of sitting on a shelf. Clients see the value we bring, rely on us for strategic advice, and have no reason to look elsewhere. Your team hits clear KPIs, and project work grows from the plans you help build.
The Ideal Candidate
You understand the problems small and midsized businesses face and can translate them into practical technology plans. We care more about your grasp of the client's perspective than your depth in our technology; we'll teach you our stack. You've managed people before, you're comfortable in a boardroom, and you'd rather grow existing client relationships than chase cold leads. You're detail-oriented and a finisher, and you follow how businesses are putting AI to work.
Growth Opportunities
This is a new leadership role at a growing company. As Bellwether grows, so will this function. You'll help shape our client strategy team, the offerings we bring to market, and how we guide clients for years to come.
