This position will be based in the Austin, TX market.

Job Summary

The Director of Client Relations is primarily responsible for leading business development efforts and driving the growth of client partnerships across key markets. Responsibilities include property analysis, potential client communication, contract administration, client relationships and communications, and seamless transition of new business into operations. The position will work cross-functionally with internal teams and directly with executive leadership to build and maintain a strong pipeline and elevate overall client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Development strategy aligned with company goals and revenue goals.
  • Build, maintain, and leverage high-level client and industry relationships.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with other teams to ensure comprehensive business plans and budgets are created for new opportunities.
  • Prepare market and industry research to identify target markets, communities, and/or clients.
  • Evaluate and provide insight into economic activity, conditions and trends to include in-depth property level underwriting, market research, rent surveys and supply/demand analytics.
  • Direct the preparation of management opportunity proposals and presentations, including RFP narratives, graphical charts, and financial and strategic analyses.
  • Identify and optimize opportunities for lead generation.
  • Maintain a pipeline of new business and all stages of the business development process.
  • Develop and organize new business development initiatives, tools, and resources
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance visibility and brand awareness.
  • Help facilitate transition processes from business development to Transition/Operations teams ensuring alignment among all parties and a smooth hand-off.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements
  • Years of job-related experience: 3+ years of experience in client relations, business development or strategic growth roles, preferably within property management, real estate, or related industry.
  • Degree required and area of study: Bachelor's degree in is required from a four-year college or university, or any equivalent combination of education and multi-family experience

Certifications and/or Specialized Training
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Pay Range: $150,000 - $250,000 per year
