ResponsibilitiesUnder the direct supervision of the Deputy Chief Operations Officer (DCOO), the Chiropractic Director (CD) is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of chiropractic services at UHC. The CD will supervise Clinical staff providing sound guidance and direction for chiropractic services. This position combines direct service with hands-on administrative responsibilities in support of the chiropractic program. Working as a collaborative partner with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), the CD provides real-time analysis and recommendations for improvement in clinical operations across multiple levels/functions.
- Assist with the coordination of chiropractic services
- Collaborate with the CMO and clinical administration
- Provide chiropractic services
- Participate in organizational administration
- Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs for Chiropractic staff
- Participate and assist in oversite of the chiropractic chart audit and QI review process
- Complete and deliver annual evaluations for Chiropractors
- Participate in the recruitment, interview, and selection of Chiropractors
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy Chief Operations Officer (DCOO)
QualificationsEDUCATION AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:- Graduation from an accredited university or school with a D.C. degree
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:- Possess a valid CA Driver's License.
- Possess a valid Chiropractor License
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:- 2 years + experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.
The salary wage range that UHC reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire starts at $130,000.00 a year plus bonus. Our competitive salaries are dependent on knowledge, skills and experience. The base pay does not include other forms of compensation and/or incentives.
