Job Summary

The Director of Business Development (DBD) is responsible for strategic planning, physician relations, market intelligence, business development analytics and reporting, and overall growth. The DBD will lead the development and execution of the strategic vision and initiatives with the facility CEO and executive team to achieve the aspirations of the organization and become essential in the markets we serve. Provides leadership and oversight of the facility team members in Business Development, Strategy, Marketing and Physician Relations to guide them toward the successful achievement of the core strategies. Lead the development, ongoing updating, and report out of the strategic plan performance to ensure this is cascaded throughout the organization. This position reports to the CA Market Regional Director of Strategic Development with a dotted line to the facility CEO, if applicable.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in related field required.
  • Master's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of Three (3) years' experience required, preferred Five (5) years of experience in Healthcare Business Development.
  • Active driver's license and reliable transportation required.
