Full Job Description
Director, who in the management of the C6ISR portfolio is a direct report to the LMGA Navy/Marine Corps/Coast Guard Programs VP, and responsible for managing a portfolio of Naval programs and pursuits related to Electronic and Information Warfare, C6ISR, and Naval S&T. In this Pillar Lead role, the Director will lead a team of subject matter experts to support corporate and business area staffs to establish, achieve and coordinate domestic business objectives relating to Electronic and Information Warfare, C6ISR and Naval S&T. Additionally, as the Director of the San Diego Field Office, he/she will develop and establish close working relationships with appropriate military commands and the civilian community in the San Diego, CA and relevant West Coast regions to facilitate the evaluation, qualification, and development of new domestic business opportunities for Surface Warfare, C6ISR and Information Warfare programs. In both capacities he/she will support activities to facilitate winning new business and keeping core business, both in the San Diego area and across all customers within the C6ISR portfolio. Basic Qualifications • Familiarity with CPF, C3F, Type Commanders, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center, Fleet Units, Base Commanders, PAE Mission Systems and associated enterprises and senior leadership. • Specific knowledge of DoN, OPNAV N6/8/9, ONR and PAE Mission Systems organizations, Information Warfare programs and budgetary process. • Possess general Lockheed Martin product familiarization across the Surface Warfare, C6ISR, and Information Warfare portfolios. • Working understanding of the Department of War and Congressional budget process and procedures. • Understand the Warfighting Acquisition System (WAS). • Working understanding of naval operations, acquisition and research & development policies and processes. • Familiarity with capturing new business including various phases of the proposal developments to include knowledge about operations, technologies, business and competitors. • Active TS/SCI clearance. Desired Skills • Significant experience in the Surface Warfare Community • Operational command of Naval forces and ships • Familiarity with COCOM and Fleet operational exercises, large-scale demonstration and operational testing • Background in the Navy Secretariat and Navy (OPNAV) Staff • Specific knowledge of Navy Surface Warfare, C6ISR and Information Warfare programs • Strong professional network within the San Diego, CA aerospace and defense industry Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $195000.00 - $350000.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
