The Role

You're an experienced marketing leader who thinks strategically, executes decisively, and develops high-performing teams. You're equally comfortable shaping strategy, translating ideas into action, and rolling up your sleeves when needed.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you'll help lead Viva's marketing strategy across brand, digital, acquisition, retention, and market expansion, driving measurable growth while strengthening the guest experience across every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the VP of Marketing to establish strategic priorities, allocate resources, and execute annual marketing plans.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional marketing talent while evolving the capabilities of the team.
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships to support company growth.

Marketing Performance
  • Lead an integrated marketing team and agency partners to deliver measurable business growth.
  • Optimize acquisition, retention, customer lifetime value (LTV), and marketing ROI through guest insights, analytics, and attribution.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and translate insights into measurable business results.
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve marketing effectiveness, team productivity, and guest engagement while preserving Viva's premium guest experience.

Brand Strategy and Positioning
  • Lead the continued evolution of the Viva brand while protecting its premium positioning.
  • Shape how Viva's story is told across every guest touchpoint, ensuring it is distinctive, relevant, and authentic.
  • Strengthen guest trust, brand affinity, and market differentiation.
  • Ensure a consistent brand experience in every market.

Minimum Requirements
  • 6-8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading integrated marketing teams across multiple channels and guest touchpoints.
  • Experience building, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams while effectively managing agency and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success driving measurable business growth through data-informed marketing strategies and customer insights.
  • Background in premium consumer brands preferred, including wellness, beauty, medical aesthetics, luxury retail, hospitality, or other experience-driven businesses.

Qualifications
  • Strategic thinker who balances long-term brand building with near-term business performance.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition, retention, customer lifetime value (LTV), attribution, marketing ROI, and performance measurement.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve marketing effectiveness while maintaining a premium brand experience.
  • Naturally curious, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, lifecycle marketing, loyalty and membership programs, segmentation, and first-party data strategies.
  • Experience managing agency partners across paid media, SEO, web, creative, and public relations.
