Reports to: EVP, Customer Growth and Operations
As the Director of Marketing at Trella, you will lead:- Pipeline & Demand Generation
- Own the marketing-sourced pipeline number as the single most important measure of success, delivering predictable, scalable, and repeatable pipeline that converts to revenue across all markets.
- Set and hit pipeline targets by market (Post-Acute, Specialty Therapy & HME, and Health Systems) and by product, directing spend and effort toward the biggest gaps and biggest growth opportunities.
- Monitor and optimize the channels that create pipeline (digital/paid, SEM, website, email, and webinars), restoring underperforming channels and standing up new plays as buyer behavior shifts.
- Build demand programs that feed and accelerate the BDR and sales motions, tightening hand-offs so marketing activity becomes qualified pipeline.
- AI-Forward Marketing
- Embed AI across marketing workflows (content production, campaign creation, audience research, personalization, and performance reporting) to give a lean team the leverage of a much larger one.
- Set the standard for how modern, AI-first marketing gets done at Trella, continuously adopting new tools and redesigning processes around them.
- Multi-Product Positioning & Messaging
- Develop deep command of our products, buyers, markets, and competitors, and translate it into clear, compelling positioning across the Insights and CRM portfolio.
- Ensure consistent messaging across divisions and segments, partnering with Product and Product Marketing to bring new capabilities to market.
- Marketing Operations & ROI
- Own the processes and analytics that measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI of every marketing dollar, and make disciplined, data-driven decisions about where it goes.
- Partner with RevOps to maintain pipeline reporting and attribution that leadership can rely on.
- Manage agency and contractor relationships, expectations, and budgets.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of pipeline-focused marketers, multiplying both their capability and their output through best practice project management, AI, and process.
- Build a high-performance, test-and-learn culture that measures results and continuously improves.
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Execution
- Partner closely with Sales, BDRs, Customer Success, RevOps, Product and Product Marketing to align messaging, tighten hand-offs, and turn programs into closed revenue.
- Move multiple strategic and executional projects forward at once without letting the pipeline number slip.
This job might be a fit for you if you have: - 10+ years in B2B marketing with a track record of driving demand and generating pipeline, preferably in SaaS, including experience leading a marketing function or demand-gen organization.

- Genuine fluency with AI marketing tools and a concrete track record of using AI to increase a team's output and quality.
- Experience marketing a multi-product portfolio across more than one market or buyer type, and balancing competing demand goals.
- Proven success acquiring, nurturing, and converting buyers through multi-channel programs (digital, paid, email, web, webinars, events).
- Strong leadership and coaching skills. You build and develop your team members.
- Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills. You combine qualitative and quantitative insight to tell a story and make data-driven recommendations.
