Job Title: Director, Investor Services
Location: New York, NY - Hybrid
About the Role
The Director of Investor Services at SS&C Technologies, Inc. will lead and manage a team responsible for delivering exceptional service to our institutional and high-net-worth clients. This role focuses on optimizing investor relations, overseeing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the fund administration sector.
How You Will Make an Impact
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of investor services professionals, fostering a high-performance and client-centric culture.
• Oversee all aspects of investor communication, including onboarding, capital calls, distributions, statements, and ad-hoc inquiries.
• Act as a primary point of contact for key client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring service delivery excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., fund accounting, legal, compliance, technology) to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
• Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC) and internal compliance policies.
• Participate in client due diligence meetings and present on SS&C's investor services capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enhancements to optimize investor service operations.
• Prepare and review management reports, client reporting, and internal metrics.
• Contribute to business development initiatives by providing expertise and support during client pitches and proposals.
Required Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in investor services or fund administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Deep understanding of private equity, hedge fund, or alternative investment fund structures and operations.
• Expert knowledge of investor onboarding, capital activity processing, and reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS).
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional client relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with industry-standard fund administration software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $125,000 USD to $150,000 USD.
In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company's discretion.
