About the position:
Velosio is looking for a Director, Industry Demand Marketing to be an integral leader on the Marketing Team.As the Director, Industry Demand Marketing at Velosio, you will lead a team of industry-focused marketers responsible for driving pipeline growth, bookings attainment, and measurable revenue impact across prioritized vertical markets.
This role combines people leadership, commercial strategy, and operational excellence. You will partner closely with Industry, Consulting, and Sales Leaders to translate business strategy into actionable marketing plans and align investments with measurable business outcomes. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Strong preference for candidates located in the Atlanta metro area who can participate in a hybrid work environment with at least three days per week in the office. Your day might look like:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Industry Demand Marketers focused on pipeline growth, bookings attainment, and business impact.
- Establish clear goals, performance expectations, KPIs, and development plans while fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, accountability, and results.
- Partner with Industry, Consulting, Sales and Microsoft Alliance leaders to develop and execute industry growth plans aligned to revenue and bookings objectives.
- Translate business priorities into integrated marketing strategies that drive pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and support revenue growth.
- Identify market opportunities, target segments, and pipeline gaps, and align marketing resources and investments accordingly.
- Lead the development and execution of industry-specific go-to-market and demand generation programs aligned with the ideal customer profile and buyer journey.
- Oversee integrated campaigns across digital, content, events, webinars, partner marketing, account-based marketing, and sales activation.
- Translate complex Microsoft ecosystem solutions, cloud services, and consulting offerings into compelling market-facing messaging.
- Ensure marketing initiatives are executed with excellence, measured consistently, and optimized for business impact.
- Establish operating rhythms including pipeline reviews, KPI scorecards, forecasts, and quarterly business reviews.
- Hold the team accountable for pipeline contribution, opportunity creation, conversion performance, influenced revenue, ROI, and bookings results.
- Leverage analytics and performance insights to guide investment decisions and deliver executive-ready reporting on marketing's contribution to growth.
- Serve as a trusted marketing partner to Sales, Industry Leadership, Alliances, Practice Leaders, and Executive Leadership.
- Build alignment and shared accountability across teams to improve go-to-market performance and revenue outcomes.
What you'll bring:
- 12+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience with significant demand generation, growth marketing, and go-to-market leadership responsibility
- 3-5 years of people management experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing and highly-accountable teams
- Proven success partnering with sales and business leaders to achieve pipeline, bookings, and revenue objectives
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams from strategy through execution while delivering measurable business results
- Experience building and executing integrated demand generation, account-based marketing, and sales-aligned marketing programs
- Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM, analytics, attribution, and funnel management
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field preferred
- Ability to participate in a hybrid work environment in the Atlanta metro area at least three days per week
