Full Job Description
Intuit's Customer Success organization includes the Expert Network (EN). EN is the AI-driven virtual expert platform connecting millions of customers across the Intuit ecosystem to the digital and human-assisted expertise they need to make confident financial decisions. EN has evolved from a tax-focused experiment into the world's largest expert network, with nearly 50,000 product and domain experts across six countries, a mix of full-time and seasonal tax experts, year-round SelectTime experts, and third-party product experts. EN is now driving two transformative shifts at once: deepening AI agent integration that is fundamentally reshaping how the network operates and serves customers, and 'Activate Local Experts,' a national retail/local strategy that will place roughly 1,100 new employees at local sites across the country and is a key driver of Intuit's revenue growth.

This hybrid role will focus on the Expert Network business within the Consumer Group and will be based out of our beautiful San Diego, California office.
Why this role, now

Intuit is rebuilding how work gets done. We're moving to AI-native leadership - where AI carries coordination and synthesis, and leaders spend their time on judgment, coaching, and culture. We're aligning business strategy directly to the skills, scale, and shape of our teams. And we're driving AI adoption company-wide, so every employee can deliver stronger outcomes with more velocity.

Our People & Places function sits at the center of this transformation - not enabling it, leading it. Our HR Business Partners are embedded members of Intuit's most senior executive teams: growth accelerators, executive coaches, and change agents who shape business strategy, not just the talent plan behind it. We operate as business leaders first - fluent in the P&L, the operating model, and the competitive landscape - who happen to lead through people.

This role demands exactly that. You'll sit shoulder-to-shoulder with the executive team, own the leadership and organizational bets that determine whether we win, and coach senior leaders through the most significant reinvention of work in a generation.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities

  • Business partner, first: Understand the Expert Network's strategy, economics, and operating model deeply enough to proactively define and shape the talent strategy, priorities, and in-year outcomes with the senior executive team.
  • Executive coach: Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to the senior executive team - build trust, be courageous with coaching and feedback, and unlock leadership potential in the era of AI.
  • Cross-functional builder: Partner across HR functions - talent acquisition, compensation, talent development, and manager training - to design and stand up the people systems and infrastructure needed to scale a network of this size, not just support existing structure.
  • Talent steward: Partner with leaders and talent acquisition to identify, develop, and hire senior talent, with AI-first expectations built into hiring rubrics and goals from the start. Build the capability for others to do the same - attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
  • High-performing team builder: Build high-performing senior executive teams, and through them, highly engaged, high-performing organizations that deliver on the Expert Network's vision and strategy. Leverage team effectiveness strategies to drive prioritization, x-functional alignment, and velocity.
  • Culture carrier: Work with the senior executive team to role model the behaviors and values that create a high-velocity culture where employees - whether seasonal, year-round, or site-based - do their best work and have fun while doing it.
  • Change agent: Drive and accelerate Intuit-wide priorities such as AI-powered work and strategic workforce planning across Expert Network. Partner closely with the People & Places centers of excellence on career growth, mobility, executive development, manager training, and total rewards, especially as they apply to a large hourly, seasonal, and geographically dispersed population.
  • Data-led operator: Leverage AI tools and dashboards to turn quantitative and qualitative people data into insights and actions.

Qualifications
Qualifications

  • 10+ years in senior HR leadership, partnering directly with executives on business results, not just HR process.
  • Experience with workforce planning and org. design - building org. structures, career frameworks, and staffing models for a business scaling headcount quickly, not just optimizing an existing org.
  • Strong business acumen - able to interpret operating and financial performance, follow strategy, and translate both into talent and organizational decisions that influence business outcomes, not just structure.
  • Strong AI fluency to make work more effective and efficient, with an experimentation mindset for yourself and other HR team members you partner with.
  • Exceptional problem-solving (structured thinking and hypothesis-driven rigor) and communication skills, potentially sharpened in management consulting, strategy, or similarly analytical environments outside of HR.
  • Track record leading transformational change, and building that capability in others.Data-led decision-making across engagement, mobility, and retention.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally across HR teams (talent acquisition, compensation, talent development) to build integrated talent solutions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Diversity and Inclusion, with outcomes to show for it.
