Full Job Description
Reporting to the Division CFO, the primary responsibility of the Director of Operations Finance is to forge strong business partnerships and provide cost analysis and decision support to the operations and commercial leadership of Electronic Materials. Key focus areas include developing a strong operations finance team, improving standard processes and reporting, and ensuring a strong control environment. Deliverables include providing value-added cost analysis, insights, and recommendations to drive efficiencies, cost reductions, ideal inventory levels, and management of capital spending. Job will also include finance partnering with EM business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Lead the Operations Finance team -- provide financial support to manufacturing and supply chain teams. • Drive discipline in the forecasting and capital spending processes. • Complete cost savings and payback analysis to maximize ROIC and identify and share best practices and lessons learned. • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for manufacturing and supply chain across for Electronic Materials. • Partner with VP/GM of EM business unit for reporting, forecasting, and driving results. • Partner with the Electronic Materials FP&A Director and Corporate Accounting to oversee monthly closing process and ensure compliance with US GAAP and Corporate policy; support internal and external audit requirements. • Develop standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor manufacturing metrics and recommend corrective actions, as needed. • Identify and drive cost reductions and continuous improvement, including the development of robust reporting to monitor actual performance vs. savings targets. • Analyze manufacturing variances and recommend actions to improve performance. • Improve accuracy and completeness of standard costs and standardize processes and procedures across Electronic Materials. • Partner with supply chain to drive inventory reductions to improve working capital. • Drive enhancements, upgrades, and standardization of SAP systems across Electronic Materials to better support cost accounting and variance analysis. • Drive continuous improvement and automation of systems and processes that support financial analysis and reporting. • Collaborate with corporate operations finance and the other business units on best practices and standardization. • Support Mergers & Acquisition activities, including due diligence and integration planning. • Ad-hoc projects and analysis / other duties as assigned.
