***This is a Traveling Director of Operations role. We're looking forpeople willing to consider travel assignments at our Data Centers throughoutthe country. Position Description:
Oversee and supervise field construction General Superintendents for mega campus complex project ($1B+), which may include
multiple project locations and serve as company-wide subject matter resource for construction operations. Leverage master
builder construction operations expertise to provide technical and organizational planning and scheduling guidance to project
operations in order to complete work on time, within budget, and to quality specified.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and supervise field construction General Superintendents on mega campus complex project, which may include
multiple project locations and serve as master builder for company-wide subject matter resource for construction operations.
• Partner with Operations Manager or Self-Perform Manager to coordinate workforce plan and assignments of mega project
staff, including Superintendents, Foremen, Staff, and Trade partners.
• Provide guidance to General Superintendents and Forepersons for developing staffing projections and Work In Place (WIP)
utilizing application software in use on project.
• Leverage master builder level construction operations expertise to provide technical and organizational planning and
scheduling guidance to General Superintendents and Forepersons throughout duration of project.
• Coordinate resource sharing, workforce mobilization, and standardization of execution methodology across project; partner
with General Superintendents to ensure consistent quality, productivity, and safety practices project wide.
• Oversee and provide guidance on development of logistics plans and schedules during pre-construction and early project
activities.
• Lead project schedule reviews with General Superintendents and Forepersons to ensure critical activities and decisions
remain on task and provide Required-On-Job (ROJ) dates to project management team.
• Analyze schedule and production data across mega project locations to identify gaps and risks, establish recovery plans, and
track production goals to meet project plan.
• Document project site risks and issues that affect budget, quality, or schedule and provide update to project management
team.
• Oversee implementation of mega project Quality Control (QC) program.
• Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) lead to implement mega project Safety Program across project
locations.
• Contribute input to progression and succession plans for employees in consultation with Business Unit management and
Human Resources teams.
• Contribute to development of mega project operational plans for pursuits, working in partnership with Business Development,
Estimating and Project Executive teams.
• Initiate and communicate continuous improvement concepts and practices to team in support of working efficiently,
enhancing programs, coordinating and reducing waste across mega project site(s).
• Supervise team of General Superintendent employees and participate in hiring process, onboarding of new employees,
deliver timely performance feedback for direct reports, contribute to performance appraisals during annual performance
cycle, utilize talent management systems, and identify appropriate training to help with employee and team development
needs.

- Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related
field, and minimum of 20 years of construction experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Extensive knowledge and/or Master Builder designation of construction operations including Self-Perform Operations (SPO)
• Extensive knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and project Environmental Health & Safety
(EH&S) programs
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, construction
means, methods, and materials, understanding of line and grade and survey methods
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques,

and accounting principles
• Extensive knowledge of building codes and compliance
• Extensive project management experience, able to manage high volumes of work and various size project(s) successfully to
completion, on time, and within budget
• Established relationships with clients, owners, developers, and architects
• Ability to produce and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
• Seasoned leadership experience to make decisions, direct and build teams across mega project landscape
• Diplomatic approach to problem solving, use of active listening to completely understand target audience needs and develop
targeted solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to negotiate, influence, and engage stakeholders, teams, and others that are not direct reports
