The Opportunity
BMG is seeking a senior sales professional who has run enterprise media operations from the inside and can sell the model that replaces what organizations have traditionally built and managed in-house.
Enterprise media organizations represent a significant growth opportunity for BMG. Telecom, financial services, technology, and consumer brands now operate studios, internal networks, executive communications, and live events at broadcast scale-often with in-house teams stretched thin.
This role sells a better operating model. BMG consults, designs and builds the facility, staffs it, and operates it through our Network Operations Center (NOC) under a recurring managed services agreement.
We are looking for someone who has sat in the buyer's chair, managed these teams and budgets, and understands where in-house media operations break down.
What You'll Do
- Build a new-logo pipeline of Fortune 1000 enterprises with in-house media, studio, or live event operations, prioritizing multi-year managed services agreements over one-off projects.
- Sell to the full buying group, including communications and marketing executives, heads of media production, IT and network leaders, procurement, and finance.
- Lead with operational diagnosis by assessing a prospect's current production model-including staffing, facilities, workflows, uptime risk, and cost-and shaping a BMG solution around the problems identified.
- Package the full lifecycle of BMG services, including consulting, facility design and build, embedded staffing, Cloud Control Center™ and REMI production, and 24/7 NOC operations, in partnership with BMG engineering and operations teams.
- Own proposals and RFP responses for managed services, including scope, staffing models, SLAs, and commercial structure.
- Expand existing enterprise accounts from single events or projects into recurring operations.
- Represent BMG at industry events and executive forums and provide market insights that inform BMG's positioning and offerings.
- Maintain a disciplined sales forecast in HubSpot with accurate stages, close dates, and next steps.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in media production and operations within enterprise environments or live broadcast news.
- 5+ years of experience leading media production or media operations at the Director level or above.
- Direct experience managing large production teams, vendors, budgets, and multi-site facilities, including experience purchasing and managing services similar to BMG's.
- Strong knowledge across broadcast and digital environments, including live production, studio operations, content workflows, cloud and remote production, and distribution to television, streaming, and social platforms.
- A demonstrated record of transforming production workflows and operating models with measurable improvements in cost, speed, or reliability.
- Executive presence and experience working with C-suite communications, marketing, and technology leaders.
- A strong professional network across enterprise media and broadcast.
- A consultative approach-you diagnose before you pitch and can translate technical architecture into clear business outcomes.
- Comfort carrying a quota and building pipeline from a target account list.
Nice to Have
- Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or other enterprise organizations operating internal networks, brand studios, or executive communications at scale.
- Previous sales, business development, or client-facing agency experience.
- Background in creative content strategy and corporate communications in addition to technical operations.
- Familiarity with managed services commercial models, including SLAs, staffing-as-a-service, and multi-year MSAs.
- Existing relationships within the Dallas, Atlanta, or New York enterprise media communities.
