Full Job Description
Role Summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Director, Digital Transformation to finalize and implement the core technology stack for our Development organization and stand up the data practices that turn our project pipeline into decision-ready insight. This individual contributor role owns tool selection and adoption (CRM, project management, and data management platforms), builds the dashboards and KPIs the Development team relies on, and partners closely with a Data Engineer to keep that infrastructure reliable and scalable.

The successful candidate will pair a genuine enthusiasm for data, metrics, and dashboards with the judgment to choose the right tool for the job and the discipline to drive adoption across the Development organization.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% for project site visits and company gatherings.

Location: Denver, CO or Seattle, WA (hybrid 3 days in-office role)

Compensation: $160K - $205K (Offers Bonus)

Essential Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, select, and finalize the core tooling stack for the Development organization, balancing team workflows, cost, and long-term scalability
  • Stand up data management practices and infrastructure for the Development org, including data governance, source-of-truth definitions, and integration between systems of record
  • Design and build dashboards, and identify the KPIs that matter, to give the Development organization and executive leadership a clear, timely view of pipeline health and project performance
  • Partner closely with a Data Engineer to translate reporting needs into data pipelines and models, using working SQL knowledge to review their work and sanity-check outputs
  • Drive adoption of new tools and workflows across the Development organization through training, documentation, and hands-on change management
  • Partner with internal teams (Sites, Energy & Water, EDX, Construction, Business Development, Finance) to understand reporting needs and ensure tooling decisions reflect how the business actually works
  • Continuously monitor tool and data quality, iterating on dashboards, KPIs, and workflows as the Development org's priorities evolve

Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in business systems, data/reporting operations, or program management, ideally supporting a real estate, construction, or infrastructure development team
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts-enough to write basic queries and evaluate a Data Engineer's work
  • Experience managing or closely partnering with a Data Engineer or similar technical resource
  • Hands-on experience selecting, implementing, or administering platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Smartsheet, SiteTracker, Databricks)
  • A genuine passion for data, metrics, and dashboards, with hands-on experience building reporting in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Smartsheet Dashboards
  • Strong stakeholder and change management skills-able to drive tool adoption across a busy team without heavy-handed process
