Job Description Summary:
The Director of Data Analytics will help lead the FP&A and data analytics strategy for the wealth management business, transforming client, advisor, operational, and financial data into actionable insights that improve growth, advisor productivity, and business performance. This role will partner closely with advisory, investment, operations, technology, compliance, and finance team members to build scalable reporting, strengthen data governance, and advance a more data-driven organization. The Director will help build scalable reporting frameworks for billable client assets and firm-level performance benchmarking.

This position will be an integral contributor to the company's FP&A and data analytics efforts and reports to the VP of FP&A and Data Analytics.

This position can be based out of the following locations on a hybrid basis; New York, New York or New Hyde Park, New York

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Help build and develop a high-performing finance data analytics team responsible for dashboards, KPI reporting, ad hoc analysis, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
  • Partner across all business disciplines to improve data quality, establish common definitions, and enable trusted analytics across CRM, portfolio reporting systems and billing systems.
  • Deliver meaningful reporting across client trends, segmentation, productivity, profitability, and retention metrics.
  • Navigate the firm's data warehouse capabilities, ensuring clean integration of data to our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other reporting platforms.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to use predictive analytics and AI to improve process automation.
  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics tools, data literacy, and a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the finance organization.
  • Establish strong standards for governance, date quality, and privacy to support regulatory, risk, and audit requirements.

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $160,000 - $210,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate's experience and education.
