KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Corporate Strategy to join our Corporate Strategy organization.
Responsibilities:- Drive first-principles thinking to set firm-level strategic priorities, partner with leadership to evaluate critical, high-impact decisions, and help shape the firm's portfolio and financial aspirations
- Continuously evaluate the external market landscape, client demand shifts, macroeconomic trends, and competitor moves to define the firm's growth agenda; lead development of data-driven business cases for major strategic decisions and investments and drive core strategic analytics to deliver critical insights that enable informed decision making
- Partner with business teams (for example, Finance & Accounting, Operations) and executive leadership to evaluate financial outlook, prioritize investments, and ensure roadmaps are achieving long-term objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business unit leaders, corporate development, and ecosystems leadership to continuously evaluate ecosystem network against firm's growth strategy, capability needs, innovation opportunities, and technology stack
- Prepare high-impact strategy presentations, business cases, and investment memos for the C-suite and Board of Directors; clearly articulate complex strategic concepts and provide data-driven recommendations, leveraging executive presence and influence to socialize strategic imperatives
- Help build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of strategy managers and analysts; act as a center of excellence for strategic thought leadership within the firm
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:- Minimum ten years of recent progressive experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, or a related field, with at least three years in a leadership or team management role
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited college or university is highly preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, economics, finance, or a related field is required
- Exceptional financial modeling, investment analysis, and quantitative problem-solving skills; proven ability to synthesize complex variables into clear frameworks to inform strategic direction and evaluate the financial viability of strategic bets
- Proven track record of successfully influencing and advising senior executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional leaders on high-stakes resource and investment decisions
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with mastery in creating executive-level presentations, investment memos, and business narratives
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously, prioritizing resources effectively under ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
