Who We Are

Force 10 Partners is a nationally recognized financial advisory firm based in Irvine, California, focused on a number of service offerings including, but not limited to complex corporate restructuring, litigation support, valuation, and forensic financial analysis. They are frequently retained to provide other services such as interim management, serve as a fiduciary, and provide expert witness reports, and are well-known for rigor, independence, and credibility.

About the Role

We are seeking a Director to join our restructuring and litigation support practice. This is an execution-heavy, client-facing role with responsibility for complex financial analysis, and financial modeling. Directors work closely with partners and senior professionals and are expected to take ownership of workstreams, analyses, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze historical and projected financial statements, cash flows, liquidity, and capital structures
  • Build, review, and maintain detailed financial models, including forecasts, liquidity analyses, valuation models, and damages-related computations
  • Prepare analyses assessing operating performance, trends, and key drivers impacting liquidity, valuation, and recoveries
  • Support out-of-court workouts, debt restructurings, Chapter 11 cases, and bankruptcy contingency planning
  • Perform financial due diligence and investigative analysis using incomplete, unorganized, or imperfect data
  • Assist with litigation support engagements, including expert analysis, report preparation, and testimony support
  • Synthesize complex financial findings into clear, defensible conclusions for clients, counsel, and other stakeholders
  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Mentor team members and review work product as appropriate
  • Contribute to special projects and firm initiatives
Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, accounting, restructuring, valuation, investment banking, or litigation support
  • Prior exposure to restructurings, distressed situations, or complex disputes strongly preferred
Skills & Capabilities
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to connect business strategy, operations, and financial performance
  • Advanced financial modeling capabilities, including detailed projections and scenario analysis
  • Strong understanding of operational and financial performance drivers
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; strong PowerPoint skills required
  • Experience with Capital IQ (including the Excel plug-in) preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Collaborative team player
Compensation
  • Base salary range: $150,000 - $175,000
  • Performance-based bonus
  • Compensation commensurate with experience and skill set
Additional Information
  • Local candidates (Orange County) preferred; remote arrangements considered for highly self-sufficient candidates
