About the Role >>> Director, Insights and Analytics

Olema Oncology is seeking a Director, Commercial Insights and Analytics to build and lead an integrated insights capability supporting commercial strategy, launch readiness, and lifecycle planning. The role reports to the SVP, Commercial Strategy and Operations.

The Director of Insights and Analytics will serve as a strategic thought partner to Commercial leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, bringing together primary market research, forecasting, and competitive intelligence, to address Olema's most important business questions.

This individual will develop a deep understanding of customers, patients, and competitors, and translate that understanding into clear implications and recommendations for the business. The role will be responsible for ensuring that Olema has the right insights at the right time to inform decisions ranging from product strategy and launch planning to customer engagement, market development, and investment prioritization.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role for a leader who is comfortable framing ambiguous business questions, designing research and analytical approaches, pressure-testing assumptions, and translating disparate information into executive-ready recommendations.

This role will be based out of either our San Francisco or Boston offices and will require approximately 20%travel.

Your work will primarily encompass:

Integrated Insights & Strategic Decision Support
  • Serve as the lead insights thought partner to Commercial leadership, identifying the critical questions, risks, and opportunities that should inform strategy and execution.
  • Lead an integrated insights planning process and synthesize primary research, secondary data, competitive intelligence, epidemiology, and market developments into a cohesive market perspective.
  • Translate insights into clear implications and recommendations, identifying priority knowledge gaps and the appropriate approach to address them.

Primary Market Research & Customer Insights
  • Own the primary market research strategy and annual research plan supporting Olema's portfolio and commercialization priorities.
  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research to generate insights into unmet needs, treatment decisions, product perceptions, adoption barriers, and market opportunities.

Forecasting & Market Assessment
  • Lead the development, refinement, and governance of patient-based commercial forecasts for Olema's late-stage portfolio, incorporating epidemiology, patient flow, market research, competitive dynamics, access assumptions, analogs, and clinical and regulatory events.
  • Develop and communicate scenario-based forecasts to support long-range planning, portfolio prioritization, lifecycle strategy, and business development assessments.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Foresight
  • Lead commercial competitive intelligence for Olema's priority disease areas, maintaining an integrated view of competitors, emerging mechanisms, and evolving treatment paradigms.
  • Lead synthesis around major congresses, data readouts, regulatory events, and other high-impact milestones.

Launch Readiness & Performance Insights
  • Define the strategic measurement framework for launch, including KPIs and leading indicators spanning patient dynamics, customer engagement, access, adoption, and market evolution.
  • Partner with analytical colleagues to ensure required data, reporting, and measurement capabilities are in place.
  • Lead interpretation of launch performance, integrating quantitative signals with primary research, field insights, and competitive context to identify drivers and recommended actions.
