Job Summary:
The Director/Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for setting and overseeing the strategic direction of information technology (IT) within the healthcare system. The Director/CIO will drive innovation, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure the security and compliance of all IT systems while aligning technology initiatives with the organization's mission to provide exceptional patient care. This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in healthcare IT, an understanding of healthcare regulations, and the ability to lead large, complex technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the hospital's overall mission and business goals.
  • Lead the digital transformation efforts to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and data management.
  • Oversee the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, including electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine, and cloud-based solutions.
  • IT Operations Management:
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the hospital's IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee the management and continuous improvement of all IT systems, including clinical, administrative, and financial applications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and other federal and state laws.
  • Data Security & Compliance:
