Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Business Development & Market Growth, China Corridor to join our Clients & Markets organization. Responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop, and originate new client opportunities within the China Corridor marketplace; build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, investors, founders, and strategic partners
  • Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline, lead pursuit efforts, and drive business development activities from opportunity identification through engagement conversion
  • Expand KPMG's market presence by building relationships with business associations, chambers of commerce, trade organizations, investment promotion agencies, and key ecosystem stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-border opportunities with KPMG member firms and facilitate referrals, inbound investments, market entry initiatives, M&A activities, and business expansion efforts
  • Develop strategic account growth plans, identify cross-selling opportunities, and strengthen long-term client relationships across KPMG service offerings
  • Support practice development initiatives, mentor business development professionals, and promote collaboration across service lines, offices, and international member firms
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal accountability to uphold KPMG's values and foster a respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum ten years of recent business development, strategic account management, consulting, banking, investment, or professional services experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED with twelve years of experience in business development, consulting, or banking
  • Proven track record of generating new business and driving revenue growth; solid experience building and managing executive-level client relationships; strong business development, relationship management, and strategic planning skills
  • Understanding of China-U.S. business dynamics and cross-border market opportunities; proven experience working with Chinese multinational companies or international business environments preferred
  • Native or highly fluent Mandarin Chinese required; strong English communication and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders, service lines, and international teams
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require
