Director, Automation and Enablement in the United States to shape how automation, technology, and smarter workflows create capacity, improve productivity, and help our Americas business scale.
🛠 What you'll take ownership ofShape the automation roadmap- Find the operational friction that is holding teams back and turn it into a clear portfolio of opportunities.
- Prioritize based on measurable value, scalability, capacity, and business impact rather than who shouts the loudest.
- Represent the Americas in broader conversations around automation and emerging technology, ensuring regional needs influence enterprise direction.
Lead Workflow Engineering- Give a growing team clear direction, priorities, and the environment to experiment and deliver.
- Bring product discipline to the work through thoughtful backlogs, sprint planning, testing, iteration, and measurable outcomes.
- Create repeatable ways of working that allow the function to move from individual wins to scalable delivery.
Turn ideas into better ways of working- Look beyond individual features to understand the complete workflow and the people behind it.
- Explore where traditional automation, artificial intelligence, process improvement, or a combination of approaches can remove unnecessary work.
- Deliver early, visible wins while building the framework for larger and more complex improvements.
Make adoption part of the solution- Ensure what we build actually gets used.
- Work directly with business teams to understand their needs, test solutions, remove adoption barriers, and embed new capabilities into everyday work.
- Measure utilization and value so we know whether an improvement really improved anything.
Influence across Pax8- Partner with senior leaders across Operations, Product, Engineering, and other functions to align priorities and manage competing demands.
- Bring informed recommendations to senior and executive conversations and be comfortable constructively challenging an idea when there is a better path.
- Connect regional innovation with the broader Pax8 approach to responsible, scalable automation.
💡 The impact you'll makeThe goal is bigger than simply automating tasks.
Early success will mean understanding where the greatest opportunities sit, earning the trust of key stakeholders, delivering tangible quick wins, and establishing a repeatable model that can scale.
As the function grows, the work you lead in the Americas can also help influence how automation and Workflow Engineering evolve across Pax8 globally.
🧩 You'll be ideal for us if you- Bring extensive experience across product, operations, technology, automation, or workflow improvement, ideally with experience crossing more than one of those areas.
- Have proven people leadership experience and enjoy leading small, highly capable teams where people need direction without unnecessary layers.
- Think with a product mindset: outcomes first, clear prioritization, iterative delivery, user feedback, and measurable value.
- Have enough technical depth to understand how solutions are built. You may have coded, automated workflows, worked closely with development teams, or built technology-enabled solutions yourself.
- Can point to meaningful improvements you've led that increased efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, or organizational capacity.
- Understand how software and product development lifecycles operate, including backlogs, sprints, testing, releases, and continuous improvement.
- Are comfortable working with platforms such as Jira and Confluence, or comparable product and workflow management tools.
- Understand artificial intelligence and emerging technologies without assuming artificial intelligence is automatically the answer to every problem.
- Can move comfortably from process mapping and operational discovery to solution design, prioritization, delivery, and adoption.
- Are confident working with senior and executive stakeholders who may have competing priorities, and can make clear, evidence-based trade-offs.
- Care as much about whether people use and value a solution as you do about delivering it.
- Thrive when the destination is clear but the route has not been built yet.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, product ownership, Agile delivery, change management, Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, or similar disciplines can be valuable, but we care most about what you have actually built, improved, and enabled.
