The Director of Merchandising & Design is responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision for Artistree's product assortment, design direction, and merchandising strategy. This leader drives profitable growth by delivering trend-right products, compelling value, and innovative services that inspire customers and differentiate the brand.
The role oversees end-to-end category performance, including assortment strategy, pricing and promotions, product innovation, and cross-functional execution to ensure the right products are delivered to the right customer at the right time.
Major ActivitiesMerchandising & Growth Strategy- Develop and execute category strategies that drive sales, margin, traffic, and customer engagement.
- Lead assortment planning, product selection, and promotional strategies using analytics, consumer insights, and market trends.
- Build long-range growth plans and identify opportunities to accelerate category performance and innovation.
- Own pricing and promotional calendars to maximize value perception and ROI.
Design & Product Innovation- Establish the creative vision for the Design team, ensuring trend-right, commercially viable assortments.
- Lead innovation in products, services, and experiences that delight customers and create competitive advantage.
- Guide development of new capabilities and offerings that expand Artistree's growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership- Partner with Sourcing, Inventory, Operations, Marketing, Finance, E-commerce, and IT to ensure flawless execution from concept to customer.
- Drive seamless omnichannel experiences and support system enhancements that simplify operations and improve the customer journey.
- Build strong supplier partnerships that foster innovation, quality, and long-term value creation.
Team Leadership- Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, talent development, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession.
