Role overview

Cboe Clear U.S. is seeking a Director, Product Management to lead the overall product vision, implementation planning, and execution of our clearing platform. You'll partner extensively with our clients, business stakeholders, engineering, infrastructure, risk, and operations to design clearing platform investments with aligned business priorities. As the manager of the team, you'll own the design, operation, and scaling of the clearing systems that underpin the clearinghouse.   

 

Your responsibilities will be: 

Product Strategy & Development 

  • Articulate complex implementation strategy, cost tradeoffs, and long-term platform vision to senior management 
  • Drive prioritization of platform features and enhancements based on strategic fit, business impact, and resource allocation 
  • Ensure individual product team expertise is synthesized into coherent, clearing platform standards, not siloed stakeholder recommendations 
  • Lead high-impact product launches from idea conception through to production implementation  

 

Client & Vendor Engagement    

  • Engage Clearing Member Firms and Participating Exchanges to gather operational insights, manage product pain points and roadmap expectations   
  • Oversee middleware onboarding and education for new product integrations and services, ensuring smooth adoption    
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with platform changes and delivery timelines  

 

Team Leadership 

  • Build and mentor your team through shared standards, and a clear product forward vision 
  • Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to implement quickly without sacrificing standards and introducing unknown risk to the clearinghouse 
  • Foster cross-team collaboration and break down silos across the broader product organization  

 

The ideal candidate has: 

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in Product Management, preferably at a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), Covered Clearing Agency, Exchange, Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), Broker-Dealer, or Bank     
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic direction into executable operating plans across multiple teams 
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around common priorities 
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional business initiatives from concept to adoption, working autonomously in ambiguous environments 
  • Track record of presenting product roadmap to senior leadership and securing alignment across stakeholders 
  • Utilizes AI to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in CFTC and SEC regulated environments 
  • Deep expertise of clearing/middle office platforms: FIS, ION, Broadridge 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CFTC Part 39 requirements and clearing house rules under SEC Regulation 17 CFR 240.17ad-22 
  • Experience with tokenization technologies, including design and implementation solutions   
  • Proven experience in Agile and the software developmentlifecycle   
  • Proficient in leveraging the Atlassian software suite (including Jira and Confluence) for project management and collaboration

Salary Ranges (applicable for US locations only)

At Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and marketinformed total rewards program. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $196,350-$254,100, with actual compensation determined by jobrelated factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.

 

 

This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe27s long-term equity programs.
