Live sports is a major growth vertical for Prime Video. We're acquiring the biggest and best events like NFL Thursday Night Football, NBA, NASCAR, Premier League, and Champions League for our customers and building new experiences to change the way people watch live sports! We offer customers thousands of popular events from exclusive content to marketplace content from relationships with 3Ps like Paramount+ and AppleTV+ where customers can also subscribe to add-on channels. We're looking for a Senior Program manager to take sports deals from deal signing to their first live broadcast with the goal of increasing the selection of live sports broadcasts on Prime Video. onboards and operates events for our fast growing business. As the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of taking new and existing live sports events from deal signing to their first live broadcast on Prime Video. Leading from the front, you will partner with key stakeholders from business, product, tech, and other teams on key priorities and take on the challenges of launching the most complex launch projects. A successful candidate will be customer-focused, team-oriented, meets deadlines under time constraints and while continuously raising the bar for quality.

Transform the processes and tools that unlocks scaling the selection of live sports events on Prime Video in the future. Identify initiatives, establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve quality improvements and operational efficiency gains.

Communicate with senior management on progress, risks, issues and decisions needed to ensure meeting launch dates and quality targets of live sports events for Prime Video customers.

In addition, you will work closely with cross-functional counterparts in product management, engineering, content acquisition, operations, and executive teams to ensure the teams and systems are supporting the broader growth of our business, launching new features, developing and growing business opportunities, and enhancing our customer experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of Supply Chain, Product Management, Program Management experience

- Experience owning end-to-end programs to drive results

- Experience communicating effectively with senior leadership

- Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences

- Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership

- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines

- Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, levering various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency

- Knowledge of digital marketplace and understanding of the video competitive landscape

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in the entertainment industry

- Experience building and growing relationships with internal and external partners

- Experience in an operational role, or experience managing teams

- Experience using customer insights and data to deeply understand target customers and dive deep

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
