Full Job Description
The Digital Risk Services Practice Leader is a Director/Partner-level role responsible for leading the firm's Digital Risk Services practice, including IT Audit, SOC reporting, PCI, and other technology risk, advisory, and compliance services delivered within the Assurance practice. This leader is accountable for practice strategy, financial performance, quality delivery, talent development, market growth, and cross-functional collaboration across the firm. The DRS Practice Leader serves as a trusted advisor to clients, helping executives address complex technology, risk, compliance, and assurance challenges. The role requires strong technical competence, business acumen, relationship leadership, and the ability to develop new opportunities with existing clients, prospective clients, referral sources, and other firm service lines. This leader works closely with Assurance, Cybersecurity, Risk Advisory, Financial Services, Tax, and Consulting teams to deliver integrated solutions that address evolving client needs. As a member of Assurance leadership, the DRS Practice Leader is expected to model the firm's mission, vision, and values; protect confidential information; promote quality; and lead the practice in a manner that supports sustainable growth, exceptional client service, and the continued development of team members. Responsibilities Practice Leadership and Strategy • Set and execute the strategic direction for the DRS practice. • Own practice growth, financial performance, quality, people development, and market relevance. • Align DRS priorities with the broader Assurance practice and firm strategy. • Monitor market, regulatory, technology, and client trends to inform service strategy. Growth, Client Relationships, and Market Leadership • Collaborate with growth leaders, partners, and other service lines to identify and pursue opportunities. • Build trusted advisor relationships with existing and prospective clients. • Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, pursuit planning, and executive-level client conversations. • Represent the firm through speaking engagements, publications, industry involvement, and market-facing thought leadership. Delivery, Quality, and Practice Operations • Oversee engagement execution to ensure quality, timeliness, budget discipline, and strong client communication. • Ensure adherence to firm methodologies, professional standards, independence requirements, and quality control expectations across all DRS engagements. • Review significant deliverables and provide technical oversight on complex matters. • Manage practice financials, including revenue, gross margin, billing, collections, resource leverage, and supplier performance. • Promote consistent methodologies, documentation quality, review discipline, and risk management across engagements. Talent, Innovation, and Service Development • Develop, coach, mentor, and prepare future leaders through succession planning and leadership development initiatives. • Attract, retain, and develop talent needed to support practice growth. • Evaluate and launch new or enhanced service offerings. • Improve methodologies, tools, training, and delivery models. • Lead change management efforts tied to practice growth and evolving client needs. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; master's degree preferred. • 10+ years of experience in SOC reporting, IT audit, PCI, technology risk, assurance, cybersecurity, or related advisory/compliance services. • One or more of the following certifications is required: CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent professional credential. • Demonstrated experience leading teams in the execution of audit, assurance, advisory, or compliance methodologies, including development and review of work programs, process flows, reports, control summaries, and client deliverables. • Strong knowledge of IT audit, SOC reporting, PCI, technology risk management, internal controls, and related professional standards or frameworks. • Proven ability to lead a practice, service line, market offering, or significant portfolio of client relationships. • Demonstrated ability to build market presence through networking, speaking engagements, industry associations, thought leadership, and strategic business development activities. • Demonstrated success developing business opportunities, managing executive relationships, contributing to proposals, and expanding client relationships. • Ability to manage practice financials, including revenue growth, gross margin, budgeting, realization, billing, collections, and resource planning. • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to coach, mentor, develop, retain, and attract high-performing professionals. • Exceptional executive communication, client service, presentation, writing, and relationship-management skills. • Ability to work effectively across service lines and contribute to integrated solutions that address complex client needs. #LI-EH1 #LI-HYBRID We believe that when our employees are able to thrive in all facets of life, their work and impact are that much greater.
