Where strategy meets momentumDuPont's Digital Innovation team builds the AI, automation, and analytics capabilities that change how a global science company works. We move fast, we work on problems that have never been solved here before, and we run a portfolio of initiatives that touch every corner of the business. What we need now is the person who makes that portfolio run.
As the Lead Digital Specialist you see the whole board, and turn a set of ambitious priorities into a sequence of tracked, owned, and finished work. You gather the signal from across programs, surface what leaders need to decide, and make sure decisions turn into action. When a dependency is about to slip, you know before anyone else does.
This role suits someone who creates order in ambiguity and enjoys being the person everyone trusts to know where things stand. You will not be handed a playbook; you will write one, and then continuously improve it.
What You'll DoKeep strategic initiatives moving
You own the operating rhythm of the Digital Innovation portfolio: planning cycles, governance forums, leadership reviews, and the follow-through that happens between them. You track progress across AI, analytics, automation, and digital enablement initiatives, map the dependencies that connect them, and drive the conversations that unblock delivery. Risks, resource constraints, and cross-functional snags get named early and escalated with a recommendation attached, not just a flag.
Turn information into decisionsLeaders across IT and the businesses depend on a clear, current picture of where the portfolio stands. You gather that picture from program teams, vendors, and Center of Excellence partners, then shape it into executive updates, dashboards, and briefing materials that are short, honest, and decision ready. You frame the choice, lay out the trade-offs, capture what was decided, and close the loop on actions.
Build the ways of workingLead the adoption side of the work: communications, training, and change management that help people use what we build, alongside the responsible AI practices that keep our work trustworthy.
Lead our Jira rollout end to endJira is becoming the backbone of how Digital Innovation plans and tracks work, and this role owns that transition. You will define the project and workflow design, configure boards, backlogs, and reporting to match how the team delivers, and partner with platform support teams on administration and integrations. Just as importantly, you will drive adoption: onboarding teams, running training, writing the documentation people reach for, and steadily raising data quality until Jira is the single trusted source of portfolio status.
What Success Looks Like in Year OneMilestonesThree monthsYou know every active initiative, its owner, its timeline, and its risks, and the leadership update cadence is running on a predictable schedule. Jira is live across the team's core programs with agreed workflows and fields, and every team is onboarded and trained.
Six monthsPortfolio status is pulled from Jira rather than assembled by hand, and leadership reviews start from live data.
Twelve monthsDecisions, actions, and dependencies live in one place, and the operating rhythm holds.
What You BringWe care more about how you think and operate than about a specific title on your resume. The people who thrive here tend to bring:

- Hands-on Jira experience, including project and workflow configuration, backlog and board design, and reporting; Confluence and other work management tools are a plus.
- Executive communication skills: the judgment to know what a leader needs to see, and the discipline to say it in one page.
- A talent for creating structure in ambiguous environments and keeping teams aligned on priorities, owners, and next steps.
- Strong influential leadership skills and the ability to build trust quickly with business partners, functional leaders, and technical teams.
- High ownership, sharp attention to detail, sound judgment, and comfort managing competing priorities.
- Genuine curiosity about AI, automation, and analytics, and a learner mindset that keeps pace with a fast-moving field.
- Adoption and change management and knowledge of the ADKAR model is a plus.
Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years in technical project management, program management, business operations, or a closely related role.
- 3+ years supporting digital, AI, automation, analytics, or enterprise technology initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience deploying or administering a work management platform such as Jira, including driving adoption across teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a complex, global enterprise environment.
Why You'll Want This RoleYou will work alongside data scientists, analytics leaders, designers, and business partners on emerging technology that is genuinely new to the company, and you will help decide how DuPont adopts it responsibly.
This is also a builder's role. The processes, the reporting, the Jira environment, the operating rhythm - you will shape all of it, and the way this team works a year from now will look the way you designed it. If you want scope, proximity to decision-making, and a portfolio of work that matters, this is the seat.
