Lead High-Impact Capital Projects That Shape the Future

Are you an experienced project leader who thrives on turning complex ideas into successful outcomes? Do you enjoy bringing together diverse teams, driving execution, and delivering projects that create lasting business value? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Project Team Leader (PTL).

In this role, you will lead capital projects from concept through startup, serving as the driving force behind safe, successful, and efficient project delivery. As the key connection between the business, engineering teams, and external partners, you will have the opportunity to influence strategy, guide cross-functional teams, and bring critical investments to life.

What You'll Do

As a Project Team Leader, you will be accountable for delivering capital projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and engineering partners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing and executing project strategies for design, procurement, construction, and startup.
  • Building strong partnerships with business stakeholders, steering teams, and project sponsors to ensure project success.
  • Driving project performance through effective leadership, clear accountability, and proactive communication.
  • Managing project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk from concept through completion.
  • Leading project reviews, governance activities, and stage-gate approvals.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, quality, process safety, and corporate standards.
  • Preparing project funding requests, forecasts, economic analyses, and financial reports.
  • Maintaining strong scope discipline and leading change management efforts.
  • Serving as the primary interface with engineering firms, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, optimize project execution, and enhance value through innovative project delivery approaches.


What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5 to 10+ years of project management or project leadership experience.
  • Proven experience leading capital projects valued up to $10 million.
  • Experience managing engineering firms, contractors, suppliers, and external project partners.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a bias for action.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and strengthen organizational capability.
  • Strong understanding of capital project management methodologies and project controls.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, capital project KPIs, and project execution processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project management software.
  • Experience with SAP/R3 PS, Microsoft Project, Procore, ICARUS, or other project execution and planning tools.
